Why do you do it?

Mostly for the kids.  Everyone has memories as a child of “that house.”  You remember, the one that you or your kids always say “let’s go see that house.”  I hope that kids and adults look forward every year to going and seeing “that house.” Years later, when your kids are grown up and have their own kids, they will hopefully have fond memories of “that house.”

About $20

How are you transmitting to my radio?

We use a low powered FM transmitter that broadcasts on 88.7 FM. While visiting the display you can tune your car radio to 88.7 FM and listen to the music synchronized with the lights. The music can be heard while in close proximity to the display.

Do you accept donations?

No.  It is free!!!

How much time does it take?

A bunch!  I work on different props throughout the year, as well as sequencing the music.  It takes about 3 weeks to put up all of the lights.

How much does all of this cost?

I can’t put that on here because my wife might read this and find out. 😊

What does your wife think of all of this?

She has been very patient with me.  She even helps sometimes.

How can I learn to do this?

The same way I did.  Start “googling” and reading forums.  Below are some excellent ones.
